BEST PEOPLE YOU CAN FIND! Sorry for the capital letters, but honestly, my husband and I couldn't be happier that we found them. Brian and Lynn were great from the start. They came over to our house a couple of weeks before the start date of the house/dog sitting, to meet us and Alby (our westie). Jose and I had the feeling from the start that they were really good people with a true heart for dogs. Needless to say that alby fell in love with them immediately. Alby was with Brian and Lynn for 18 days. We had constant updates, with great photos of Alby during his walks or sitting with Lynn on the sofa :) That kept us at ease and allowed us to enjoy our holiday with the certancy that Alby was in good hands and enjoying himself. When we returned home from our holiday, we came back to a extremely organised and clean house. Simply spotless!!! Lynn even made me a sandwich before she left. They also left bread and milk for a cuppa, which kept us going until we covered and managed a trip to the shops. Alby was calm, happy and is also now a lot better with other dogs ; Lynn and Brian made sure he would socialise whenever possible, which was brilliant. Alby is also pretty much potty trained now - a task my husband and I were founding hard to tackle. In summary, Brian and Lynn are stars! I wouldn't trust my place or my dog to anyone else!

Brian and Lynn are truly wonderful house- and pet-sitters. They are models of reliability, honesty, punctuality and tidiness. Being such experienced homeowners across continents themselves, and also being very experienced business people, they have a very thorough understanding of how to make arrangements work, and they apply themselves consistently.

Brian and Lynn are very experienced dog-owners. Our dog loved them and we were very grateful for the additional bits of training which they achieved with her during their stay. They are also knowledgeable about cats. I think that our Giant African Land Snail was the first they looked after and that seemed to go OK too. (I've asked him if he had any complaints about them and apparently he's going to get back to me soon.)

Our house was spotless when we returned and Lynn had very kindly laid on a bite to eat for us on arrival which was most appreciated. She had also very thoughtfully tidied some items in the kitchen which were long overdue for a tidy! Way above and beyond the call and duty but hugely appreciated.

You should not hesitate to commission Brian and Lynn.

Thank you SO much for such a wonderful homecoming, a spotless house and delicious quiche and lemon posset. Alfie looked so smart and greeted us with much joy. He's been very quiet since and we think he is missing you both! He has mainly been asleep on my lap and his level of activity pretty much matches ours. Have just finished our holiday laundry and really grateful to you for doing all the bed linen. The lump on Alfie's tail is new so Mike is making an appointment with the vet to get this and his ears checked. We are about to go for a walk with his friends over the road. Are you and Brian going to be around for a while longer? I seem to remember you were fully booked for house sitting next summer, but if you are available the first week in July, Alfie would love to have you stay for a week. Also, are you taking bookings as far ahead as next November?

Brian & Lynn have legendary status in our family. We had a beautiful labrador (Rene) who we were close to re-homing as we simply couldn't give him the time & exercise he needed. Enter Brian & Lynn who walked & housed Rene (& later Frankie) whenever we needed them to. Nothing was ever too much trouble & we managed to keep Rene for another 6 years until he sadly passed. Regular walks, stopovers & holiday stays for the dogs became common for them. Even though we moved house, years later both Rene & Frankie would run to them to welcome long lost friends. Can't thank & recommend them enough. The comfort in knowing that the dogs were cared for as part of their family is hard to articulate.

I have known Brian and Lynn for 18 years and they are a wonderful, fun and friendly couple who are a joy to be around. Brian and Lynn have looked after my beautiful cocker spaniel Coco on numerous occasions such as family holidays, long days out in London, visiting family in Norfolk and the list goes on.They adore having her and she adores being with them, having endless love and attention. Brian and Lynn recently spent 2.5 weeks at our house looking after our extremely energetic and boisterous young dalmatian, Arlo, as well as our rather more aloof cat. We could not be happier with the experience (our first of using house sitters). We received regular emails to tell us how everything was going, as well as fantastic photos of Arlo on long daily walks at the park and the beach. When we got home late on Monday the house was gleaming - cleaner than when we left! Everything had been laundered, there was fresh milk and bread, and Lynn had made a wonderful meal to save us cooking. Throughout our holiday we knew our pets were safe and happy with kind, genuine people who care about, and enjoy, the animals they look after. We were so thrilled that we have already asked Brian and Lynn back to house sit for us again in December. We give them our very highest recommendation.

This was our first experience of Trusted Housesitters and we can't tell you how delighted we are we chose Brian and Lynn to look after our house and our slightly neurotic dog Paddy for 3 weeks.
To endorse all the other references, Paddy was happy and relaxed when we got home, our house was the cleanest I've ever seen it and all our house plants are stIll alive, which must be a first. Lynn had also prepared a lovely quiche and various salads which kept us going through three days of jet lag, thank heavens.
If Lynn and Brian weren't so busy we'd ask them to move in, but one things for sure - as soon as we decide when we're off on our next adventure......they will be the first people we call.
They have set the bar very, very high for us first timers!

I can't recommend Brian and Lynn highly enough. They visited us before we went away to meet the dogs and chickens as we were getting an early flight. We had regular emails to say everything was ok while we were away and when we returned tired from a long journey we were amazed at how clean and tidy the house was - far cleaner than when we left. To top it all Lynn had baked a quiche for us and also made dessert in case we were hungry. I will ask them again at the drop of a hat if they are not already snapped up!

Brian & Lynn looked after my home & my cat for 16 days while I was away on holiday. I can't sing their praises highly enough. They were absolutely wonderful in every way, from initial contact to returning home.

When I got back yesterday evening, my cat was looking extremely relaxed & contented, well fed & well groomed. My house has never looked cleaner or tidier and all the towels & bedlinen had been washed. Lynn had even very kindly porepared a lovely meal for me in case I arrived home hungry. Fresh flowers and lovely room fragrancers were an extra treat, making my home feel really welcoming and special.

While I was away, Brian kept in touch every few days to reassure me that my cat was happy, with amusing anecdotes of what he (the cat!) had been getting up to. 

If you are considering Brian & Lynn to sit for you, grab them immediately! You couldn't do better. They are extremely reliable and you will go away completely relaxed and confident, knowing that your home & pets will be in excellent hands. I can't recommend them highly enough.

This was our first ever house sitting experience, we left our home and cat in the care of Brian and Lynn. Well, all we can say is it far exceeded our hopes and expectations. They were beyond words a true delight in every way. Not only are they two of the nicest people but they were incredibly attentive, caring and skilled in looking after our dog and home.

I cant thank you both enough for what you have done for us whilst we were away. Lynn the quiche and lemon pots were gorgeous and would love to have the recipes, Lara wants to know why my quiches dont taste the same and i must admit yours were lovely and needless to say there is none left!! Lemon pots went down a treat yummy.

Maddie was so pleased to see us but she has been pining for you both, looks like she has adopted you. Poppy on the other hand couldnt give a fig about us, hey ho, at least one out of two missed us.

Just got back from the park with Maddie, she is looking so much fitter.  Sorry she started moulting.  Its a real pain and hope it didnt cause you too much work.

Again THANK YOU Lynn and Brian.  You are a lovely couple and i do hope that we can make arrangements again, if you want that is. Knowing that Maddie was with someone as nice as you two and having you stay in my house was a real peace of mind and we really cant thank you enough.
